Sarah Foster Merrill is the IRB coordinator at the University of Louisville Human Subjects Protection Program. She holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a MPH in Epidemiology, both from Tulane University in New Orleans. She currently specializes in HIPAA in research, and data safety and privacy of research participants. She currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband and three children. Her 6-year-old niece, Marguerite, is a brave, intelligent, and beautiful DIPG warrior. Sarah is dedicated to finding effective treatment for her niece and all those battling DIPG/DMG, as well as to honor all the beautiful children who are now angels among us.
