Ginny is the Outreach and Communications Director for the Swifty Foundation and the Gift from a Child Post-Mortem Tissue Donation Program. Since 2017 she has been part of the leadership group that successfully launched Gift from a Child into a national program.
Ginny has helped oversee the operational and nonscientific organizational and workflow structure for the development of the GFAC national network. Working closely with families who are faced with losing their child to brain cancer as well as the scientific and clinical communities to build awareness, Ginny continues to drive growth for the program.
She is a passionate advocate of expanding and increasing collaborative relationships to accelerate discoveries and represents Gift from a Child at scientific, governmental and advocacy meetings. Ginny utilizes her extensive communications background to build bridges that bring together communities around the need for post-mortem donations and collaborative data sharing. She shares her knowledge and expertise freely and widely as a volunteer in support of the childhood brain cancer community.
