Peter Gilbertson is a Technical Project Manager with Leidos Biomedical Research supporting the National Cancer Institute’s Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI), an initiative seeking to build a community centered around childhood cancer care and research. He has spent over a decade within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) advancing research and technology projects in public health and healthcare, and currently works on the development of tools and processes to promote the use and understanding of pediatric cancer data. As part of the CCDI team, he led the development of the CCDI Hub and the Childhood Cancer Data Catalog, both projects seek to share pediatric cancer data and resources with members of the pediatric cancer community by enhancing linkages to these pediatric cancer resources.
