Dean Crowe is the Founder and CEO of Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally Foundation), a national nonprofit based in Atlanta, which empowers volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research to help find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and, ultimately, cures.

Rally Foundation has granted $29.4 million in research grants nationally and internationally through a dual peer-review process; advocated and secured $156 million from the Department of Defense Medical Research Program for cancers in children, adolescents, and young adults; provided more than 110,000 meals to cancer families in numerous hospitals; and provided financial support to 1,600 childhood cancer families across the country.

Dean is responsible for leading Rally, including its advocacy efforts, and providing vision by working directly with Rally Foundation’s Board of Directors, Board of Advisors and Medical Advisory Board. She created A Collaborative Pediatric Cancer Research Awards Program to streamline the grant process for researchers, reviewers, and other childhood cancer organizations. Rally has co-funded research with 17 childhood cancer organizations.

For eight years, Rally Foundation has received the highest ranking from charity watchdogs including two perfect scores from Charity Navigator. According to audited financials, 93 cents of every dollar raised supports Rally Foundation’s mission.

Dean is a graduate of Auburn University and Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management. Dean serves on the Board of Advisors for Oncoheroes Biosciences and the Auburn University College of Human Sciences Board of Advisors.
