Ann Ramer, MPH works at the Ohio Department of Health as a Regional Health Officer and organizes the childhood cancer work for the state. Two of her four children were diagnosed with many forms of cancer due to a genetic predisposition. This lived experience informs much of her work.
Ann serves on the executive committee for the Ohio Partnership for Cancer Control (OPCC), sits on the board of directors for the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2) and is a founding board member of Living LFS. Firmly believing in the power of collaborative efforts, Ann has worked with other advocates at the local, state and national level for funding and policies that would improve the lives of children with cancer.
